Step 1: What kind of event are you having?
Below is a description of events the spaces are great for.

Lower Hall renovated in 2013
Great for meetings, showers, birthday parties, dinners, reunions, small weddings/receptions.

Barn built in 1924 *Currently booking into the spring/summer of 2027
Perfect for larger wedding receptions, dinners, parties, concerts and more.

Sanctuary built in 1880

Step 3: How many people will be attending?
Each space has capacity limitations.
Lower Hall:  80
Barn: 100-150* capacity varies per event
Sanctuary: 125

Step 4: Are you serving alcohol?
There are extra requirements and fees associated with rentals that include alcohol. The rates are slightly higher and we hire 2 security guards from TAG Security at a total cost of $80/hour that is added to the renter's costs and agreement.
The renter is responsible for obtaining the liquor license and drinks.

Step 5: What's included? What else do I need to know?
Our 6' long plastic rectangular tables and plastic chairs are included in the price for your use.
You can use the fridges but please do not use the church supplies within them.
Garbage needs to be removed on clean-up or there is a fee you can pay for us to do it.
Parking is available in the two small lots and roadside parking is permitted.

We have a variety of decor and AVIT equipment you can rent at very reasonable prices.
*Add-On Catalogue will be uploaded on this page soon.

You will need to provide event liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 naming High Country United Church on the policy. Provide a copy to the church at least 3 days before your rental.

When renting the barn for 3 hours or more, you will need to rent port-a-potties from an outside vendor. We are on septic and don't want to overwhelm our system.  The barn also doesn't include running water, but has a sink available. It can easily be set up as a dry bar.
