Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. (Jeremiah 17:14)
Creating God, we give you thanks for the land and water around us that sustain life. We pray that it’s beauty will be with us forever. Be with conservationists who work to make this a reality. Be with them in research and in witnessing, being mindful of all of your creatures. May we visit a Conservation this summer and take in all the work you put in, as well as those who work with you. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord (James 5:14)
God, today we pray for heroes and champions around us, but especially those who do it with personal challenges and disabilities. May they feel encouraged and inspired to continue doing their work so that we know anyone can change the world, no matter what the world puts on us as limitations. Be in our hearts and minds and spirits as we work to save the world from evil and corruption, from injustice and disease. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5)
Today we pray for friends, gracious God. Even when we cannot be with them at all times, may they know we are still the greatest of friends. May our friends feel our love and our support, even if we simply pray for them. Help us to make time to nurture our friendships and to share our love and support with them in person. God, thank you for the gift that they are like family without the DNA. Blessed be all our friends. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. (Matthew 9:22)
Loving God, on the last day of the month we take time to reflect on what we set out to do and what we were actually able to accomplish. I pray that we are not hard on ourselves if there were things left undone. May we celebrate what was done, how we did it, and be grateful for the help we had within in. We pray for all our friends whose lives have been turned upside down this month and whose days were not their own. Be with them in strength and hope. May we help them do the things they need to do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Comforting God, today is World Lung Cancer today and we pray for all our brothers and sisters who are living with or fighting this disease. We pray for all who have cancer and ask that you surround them with doctors and nurses who are skilled and compassionate in their care. May we see an end to cancer soon, O God. Hold us all in your warm embrace as we try to live healthy lives and encourage us to make changes to prevent cancer where we can. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. (Luke 18:42-43)
On Saturdays we pray for children and families. As it is Sandcastle Day, we pray that folks get to the beach this summer and have some fun building sandcastles and playing with sand. May the enjoy the cool water and the memories being created. We give thanks to those who gave ownership back to Saugeen First Nation, renaming the beach there Saugeen Beach. I give thanks that there is hope in reconciliation. Be with parents and children in all communities. God be with us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7)
Today we worship together in-person again! We pray for the reunion of our church family, well at least those of us who aren’t away. God bless us as we sing and pray together, near or far. Be with our friends who are away enjoying their summer space and communities. May we all feel close to you in whatever way we are sharing our worship with you. Be in our hearts today and all our days. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
