For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. (Titus 2:11)
Creating God, it’s World NET Cancer Day where we’re asked to learn about Neuroendocrine Tumors that can be tricky to find and diagnose. May we be very aware of our bodies and any changes we experience. Help us to be great advocates for our health and may our practitioners be up-to-date on the latest treatments, tools, and techniques to keep us well. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Cry out, “Save us, God our Saviour; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.” (1 Chronicles 16:35)
Remembering God, today we recognize Remembrance Day and take a moment to pause and honour the brave men and women who gave their life so that we may live. We say their names to honour them, to live out our commitment to never forget them and to never forget the impact war has on families and communities. Help us to be creative to continue this much-needed tradition in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves (Colossians 1:13)
God who loves all, Anti-Bullying Week is upon us and we pray for all who have bullies in their lives. Help us to have the courage and/or tools to call them out and let them know how they affect our being. Help them to have open hearts and minds to see the harm being done, or for the perspective shared. May we become a community and a world who can live together in harmony and understand each other on deeper levels. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Rather, worship the Lord your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies. (2 Kings 17:39)
Loving God, we recognize World Kindness Day and give thanks for all who live out kindness in their souls all the days of their lives. We give thanks for those who try but who struggle due to many obstacles they have in their hearts. For those who are trying today, thanks! And may the kindness we experience ripple into the lives of others so we warm the hearts of many around us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6)
Comforting God, today is World Diabetes Day and we pray for all who live with Diabetes. We give thanks for the research and advancements that have come along the way to help us live longer and better. We give thanks for the discovery of insulin and that we can access it in our healthcare systems fairly easily. God, I pray that one day these needed medications and treatments, that we can’t live without, become free for all who need them. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? (John 14:2)
On Saturdays we pray for children and families and it’s Family Civility Day, where we discover and respect families of all kinds and forms. We give thanks for the caregivers of children and pray that children are living their best lives with everything they need. We pray for families and the resources they need to raise the children in their care. Help us to hear needs that arise and concerns that we may be able to help with. Be with all our families O God. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)
Today is Louis Riel Day and we give thanks for all that he did to protect and preserve the Metis in his time. For all who work diligently to ensure that our indigenous brothers and sisters can carry on their traditions and ways of living as best as they can. God, continue to help us work towards truth and reconciliation, and ensuring we respect and honour our indigenous communities. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
